Why nutrition is important for sports : Good nutrition is absolutely vital to performance your best, whether you are a professional athlete or a weekend warrior. Nutrition is an important part of many sports training regimens, such as weightlifting and bodybuilding and endurance sports for example: cyclingrunningswimming and more. 

Sports Nutrition is unique to each person and is planned accordingly to every individual goals.

The most important part of nutrition are the meals eaten before or after. You should be very careful about what you put into your body. according to the general thumb rule, athletes should eat about two hour before workout and meals that you consume should be high in carbohydrates, low in fat and moderate protein.

2. Eat Clean- A proper diet is essential if you truly want a lean athletic physique. Many people think all they need to do is work hard in the gym and they will be all set, they are mistaken. Diet is very important. Eating clean includes avoiding of candy bars, pizzas, sodas and so on..

3. Drink Water- If you are training regularly, you will probably need between one half and one whole ounce of water (or other fluids) for each pound of body weight per day. For example, if you weigh 150 pounds, your approximate water requirement will be between 75 and 150 ounces each day.

4. High Fiber Intake- Athletes seeking a healthy performance weight should eat high fiber, low-fat food balanced with their training regimen in order to maintain muscle while still burning fat.

5. Eat Healthy Fats- Eating Healthy Fats helps you build toned muscles.Such Foods are: Whole eggs, Berries, Oats, Yogurt, spinach, flax seeds, broccoli, oranges, apples, tomatoes, carrots and more.. 

6. Protein-  The main role of protein in the body is for growth, repair and maintenance of body cells and tissues, such as muscle.
Different foods contain different amounts and different combinations of amino acids (the building blocks of proteins). Essential amino acids are those that the body cannot make itself and so are needed from the diet.
